Many of you would have known Maureen Bell. She has been actively involved in the military vehicle movement since meeting Brian Bell over 20 years ago. She was the key organizer of Back To the Track in 1995 and has been of great assistance to the annual Corowa Swim-in since first attending many years ago. She suffered from a major stroke on Wednesday 15th Sept morning followed by another stroke while in hospital and passed away Friday just after 3pm. Sorry to have to inform you that Lynda Toohey from Coffs
Harbour passed
away on Saturday morning and
that her funeral is to be held on Friday 27th August at the Hogbin Drive
Crematorium and Memorial Gardens, Stadium Drive, Coffs Harbour at 11am. She
had been battling cancer. After the loss of Peter in January 2010, Lynda
presented the Jeep Action awards at Corowa in March 2010

Vic was also a keen Military Vehicle restorer and will be sadly missed by many . He lived in Conargo NSW .

passed away on Monday afternoon at 5.20pm. His funeral is to be held at the
Glenleigh Chapel, 453 Harfleur street, Deniliquin next Saturday the 5th of June
at 10.30.

I am emailing anyone that has expressed some interest in or has friends that might be
interested in the next Amateur Radio Foundation Licence classes and exams. The next course
on the 10/11th of October.

Also for those that are attending remember to
look at the available callsigns on the WIA website and bring a passport photo, proof of
identity eg student card/drivers licence and sufficient money for the examination and the
licence.
